As a kid, I wasn’t allowed to have a dog at home, but that didn’t stop me—I became best friends with every random dog I could find. Street dogs, neighbour dogs, and even the cows down the street (yup, I was a farm animal enthusiast too). My college mates would just shake their heads and laugh, "There goes Vijay with another pup!” 🐕🐄
As I grew older, my obsession only deepened. And then—plot twist!—dog boarding fell into my lap. It was like the universe was saying, “Okay, Vijay, now it’s time!” I quit my investment banking job (yep, that’s a real thing I did) and dove headfirst into my dream job, surrounded by fur and wagging tails. That’s when I realized that this was what truly made me happy.
Being the animal lover I am, I couldn’t wrap my head around the whole kennel system. So, I decided to bring a little piece of home to the pups—home boarding! A place where pets feel loved and at ease, just like they’re chilling in their own living room. 🏠
Oh, and did I mention? I’m now a trained dog behaviourist—yep, I officially know how to decode those tail wags, barks, and zoomies! 🐾 But I didn’t stop there. I’m currently training to be a tactical dog trainer—basically levelling up my skills to train superhero pups (think military-grade focus, agility, and all that cool stuff). It’s a big deal, and I’m absolutely pumped about it! 💥🐕
And guess what? Along the way, I ended up adopting three pets. Two were adopted, and one was abandoned at our center. But now? They’re my furry little family. They’re the kind of family that steals your spot on the couch and expects you to play fetch before you finish your coffee. 😅
